Braintree Municipal Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole layout that will test players of all abilities. The course, which has five sets of tees, can play as long as 6,564 yards with a nice variety of holes, scenery and obstacles. The course originally opened as nine holes in 1932. After it was purchased by the town of Braintree in 1955, it was expanded to 18 holes in 1971. Today, the course remains a good value and popular place to play golf in the Boston area.
